Politics and Jollof

A bold monthly space where faith meets governance, and meaningful conversations are served with a side of jollof rice. Join us as we stir ideas, share stories, and shape the future—one plate, one conversation at a time.

Politics and Jollof is a monthly fellowship that brings together young Christians in a relaxed setting to engage in meaningful conversations about politics, governance, national transformation, and the role of believers in shaping Nigeria’s future

Held on the last Sunday of every month, the gathering uses jollof rice—known for its blend of diverse ingredients—as a metaphor for the kind of dialogue it fosters: a rich mix of views, denominational backgrounds, and lived experiences united in mutual respect and shared purpose.

Rooted in the belief that real political change often begins in informal, heartfelt conversations rather than formal chambers, the initiative draws from the adage “bar room politics is the real politics” to highlight the power of candid, grassroots dialogue.

Politics and Jollof reframes that dynamic within a spiritual context, creating a table where Christians can eat, speak, and dream—together—for the good of the nation.
