Mission
The TURA Project, a foundational initiative of the RID Movement, aimed to:
- Develop a strategic roadmap for Nigeria’s transformation.
- Raise a generation of spiritually empowered young leaders.
- Utilize spiritual technologies to download divine strategies and resources.
Objectives
While prophecies about Nigeria’s future abound, a clear, strategic roadmap for the country’s transformation has been lacking. The TURA project was created to fill this gap by generating innovative ideas and employing “Spiri-tech”—spiritual technology for receiving divine strategies—to propel Nigeria towards becoming a first-world nation.
The primary objective of the TURA Project is to raise a generation of young, Spirit-filled men and women—royal priests—who will be the driving force for national transformation. These individuals are equipped with endless spiritual resources to take on leadership roles in various sectors of society, aiming for a fundamental transformation of Nigeria.
Program Structure
- Duration: Six months
- Locations: Abuja and Ibadan
- Curriculum: Focused on spiritual development, communication with the Holy Spirit, and developing a “Nigerian Youth Transformation Agenda.”
- Thematic Areas: Religion/Church, Politics/Government, Media, Entertainment/Arts/Sport, Business, Family/Health, and Education/ICT/AI.
The TURA Project was officially launched in January 2020, beginning its operations in Abuja and Ibadan. It follows a structured 6-month spiritual development curriculum, focusing on opening and maintaining a communication line with the Holy Spirit. The end goal is the development of the ‘Nigerian Youth Transformation Agenda 2020 – 2035’, a strategic plan for national change, designed through divine inspiration.
Participants Recruitment and Program Development
The launch of the TURA Project began with a Call for Applications to recruit young Nigerian Christians passionate about national transformation. Volunteers from Abuja and Ibadan were selected across the seven thematic areas, all of whom were committed to the spiritual development program. Over six months, these volunteers were trained to develop a deeper connection with the Holy Spirit and were encouraged to use divine strategies for Nigeria’s transformation.
The project involved daily prayer sessions on the Mixlr app, @iPrayNG, for an hour each day. These prayers focused on seeking strategies and resources from God to move the country forward. The formal launch of TURA was marked by The Emergence Summit in Abuja and Ibadan, where participants were inaugurated into the program. The summit introduced the volunteers to God’s vision for Nigeria’s transformation and the role they must play in realizing this vision.
Workshops, Prayer Meetings, and Strategy Sessions
Throughout the program, several workshops, prayer meetings, and strategy sessions were held in Abuja and Ibadan. These sessions were designed to spiritually equip the participants and help them generate practical, Spirit-led strategies for Nigeria’s development. The activities culminated in the creation of an almost 100-page Strategic Roadmap for Nigeria’s Transformation, which continues to guide RID’s work as a faith-based organization.
This roadmap, born from months of spiritual preparation and divine downloads, provides actionable steps for addressing Nigeria’s challenges in governance, education, economy, and culture. It is a detailed plan aimed at bringing Nigeria into its prophetic destiny as a first-world nation.
Outcome and Impact
The TURA Project has successfully laid the foundation for Nigeria’s transformation through divine strategies and has fostered a community of young leaders poised to influence all sectors of society. The strategic roadmap developed during the program serves as a guide for RID’s ongoing initiatives and informs the movement’s goals moving forward.
The project’s key outcomes include:
- The launch of a 6-month intensive spiritual development curriculum in Abuja and Ibadan.
- The Emergence Summit, where participants were inducted and equipped with the tools necessary for national transformation.
- Daily prayer sessions, workshops, and strategy meetings leading to the creation of a detailed strategic roadmap for Nigeria’s future.
- A growing network of Spirit-filled leaders across Nigeria prepared to take charge in areas such as politics, governance, media, and business.
The Upper Room Accord Project has provided a solid framework for national transformation through spiritual empowerment. With a clear roadmap now in place, the project will continue to equip young leaders with the spiritual and practical tools necessary to guide Nigeria towards a prosperous future. As the movement grows, TURA will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the transformation of Nigeria is grounded in faith and divine direction.
